Dunedin Region

The Dunedin region is located in the south east of the South Island. The city of Dunedin has some wonderful architecture and a real Scottish influence, particularly Lanlock Castle.
The Otago Peninsula which surrounds Dunedin is a great wildlife haven. It is well known for its albatross colony as well as seals and pengiuns. There are many sheltered bays with magnificent white sand beaches to be enjoyed.
